Betty Ann Chadwick

Betty Ann Chadwick, 67, of Joiner passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016. She was born to William Homer Chadwick and Leva Calcoat Chadwick in Black Cat on April 6, 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of Wilson Church of Christ. She is survived by a daughter, Wendy Pannell (Jason) of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Alex Peacock, Jackson Pannell, Sara Peacock, and Cathryn Pannell; a sister, Martha Ann Necomb and a brother, Bo Chadwick. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Hanna Virginia Chadwick, Bertha “Sis” Geneva Chadwick and Barbara “Nancy” Kathleen Chadwick; and her brothers, Marion Leroy Chadwick and William Loyd Chadwick. A visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. with the service on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Joiner Church of Christ at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park. Ruby Mayberry Ferguson

Ruby Mayberry Ferguson, of Marion, born on Dec. 9, 1920, in Canton, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at the age of 95. Ruby worked in aircraft manufacturing as part of “Rosie the Riveter” campaign of American women who supported their country during WWII. She was preceded in death by her husband William Nolan Ferguson and her son Timothy Joel Ferguson. Ruby is survived by her children, Shirley Joy Goodwin, William Nolan Ferguson, Donnie Jean Chambers (Robert), Johnny Dean Ferguson; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, with funeral services at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
