A-State to Host “National Signing Day Social” Feb. 3

JONESBORO, Ark. – Tabbed this year as the “National Signing Day Social,” the Arkansas State football team is set to host its annual fan-based recruiting function Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Centennial Bank Stadium’s new Woodard McAlister Family Club.

Doors will open at 4:00 p.m., and the event, which will bring fans an interactive experience with head coach Blake Anderson and his staff on National Signing Day, is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. Those in attendance will not only hear recruiting stories from the coaching staff while watching video highlights of the Red Wolves’ latest class, but also have the opportunity to participate in a Q& A session with the coaches.

A cash bar will be available and light snacks will be provided for the social function. Members of the A-State spirit squads are set to greet fans as they arrive and direct them to the club level of the stadium’s Johnny Allison Tower.

Matt Stolz, the “Voice of the Red Wolves,” will act as emcee for the event, which will be previewed that morning during a special National Signing Day radio program airing 7:0010:00 a.m. on East Arkansas Broadcaster’s (EAB) 95.3 FM The Ticket and AM 970 KNEA. The show is set to originate from the A-State Football Facility.

EAB’s “A-State Nation” program, airing 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., will also provide a recap of the signing class, while “The Drive with Brad Bobo” will carry a live press conference with Anderson beginning at 3:00 p.m. Both radio shows can be heard on 95.3 FM and AM 970.

A-State’s National Signing Day press conference will also be streamed live on the official web site of Arkansas State Athletics, AStateRedWolves.com.
