Sammie C. Eaves
Sammie C. Eaves, 80, of West Memphis passed away at home Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her son, Stanford Eaves. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold Eaves of West Memphis; a son, Tom Eaves (Shelly) of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Dee Oberg (John) of Marshall and Lynn Phillips (Bryce) of Fayetteville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Tom Cathey, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona. Hazel Guin
Hazel Guin, 90, of West Memphis died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at Methodist University Hospital. Mrs. Guin was a member of Missouri Street Church of Christ and a Pink Lady at Crittenden Memorial Hospital. She retired from the Colony Shop as a sales clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton E. Guin Sr. and a grandson Matthew Guin. She is survived by a daughter, Pat Rodgers of Munford, Tennessee; a son, Gene Guin (Terry) of Ooltewah, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Angela Rodgers, Michelle Crowder and Trey Guin and three great grandchildren Calli Davidson, Cam Beck and Cobe Beck. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday Feb. 1, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with services at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at The Missouri Street Church of Christ with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
