Red Cross reward

Youngsters at Marion Elementary School dug deep for change to fill the jar for the American Red Cross. Through their pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters, the students raised a total of $1,500. Top: Gail Melnor (center) accepts the check from Tera Henryʼs class, the top fund-raisers for the second grade. Morgan Hudsonʼs class was the top fund-raiser for the third grade. The students were rewarded for their efforts with a pizza party (below), a delicacy Kyle Jones (bottom) really enjoyed.
