• Crittenden County Master Gardeners Scholarship – The Crittenden County Master Gardeners are pleased to award secondary education scholarship annually. These scholarships are funded by CCMG projects conducted throughout the year. • Road Kill Report – J. J. Abernathy with Arkansas Game & Fish Commission asks that anyone seeing dead deer call to report at 1-800482-9262 now through May 20th. The agency is testing for chronic wasting disease.

• WMSD Title 1 Meeting – Title 1 meeting for the West Memphis School District at 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, April 21, at the Title 1 Annex (near the bus barn). Parents are urge to attend. Refreshments will be served.

• The West Memphis School District – participates in School Choice. The School Choice program is available for eligible students who do not reside in the West Memphis School District. The application deadline is May 1, 2016. The eligibility criteria and an application for school choice may be obtained by contacting superintendent Jon Collins at 301 South Avalon in West Memphis.

• Marion School District School Choice Deadline – Applications to attend a school other than the one the parent lives in must be submitted by May 1 before the year in which the pupil will begin the fall semester and can be obtained at the Marion School superintendent’s office, 200 Manor St., Marion.
