AWM holding registration, Open House for upcoming school year

Parents, students can get the information they need at special events

www.wmsd.net The Academies of West Memphis is holding a series of registration events for the upcoming 20182019 school year.

Parents of students entering the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade at The Academies of West Memphis must attend a required registration to receive their child’s schedule, purchase a locker ($10) and a parking pass ($20 for the year – valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required).

Registration events will be held in the AWM Cafeteria. Registration times are: Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.; and Thursday, Aug. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

and 4 to 6 p.m.,. Students are encouraged to attend with their parent.

AWM will also hold a Parent Open House on Thursday, Aug. 9, from 4 to 6 p.m., along with a final round of parent registration for those unable to attend either of the previous sessions. School starts district-wide on Monday, Aug. 13, for all students.
