Jessie Allen
Jessie Allen, 63, of Osceola, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Blytheville. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home with services following also at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home.
Survivors include four sisters, Jeanette Bledsoe of Osceola, Zola Bettes of Turrell, Patricia Young of West Memphis and Lillie Young of Memphis, Tennessee; and two brothers, John Young of Turrell and Joe Allen of Marion.
O.D. Conley O.D. Conley, 67, of West Memphis, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016, at his residence. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday 11 a.m. at Agape Church with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery.
He leaves his wife, Mary Conley of West Memphis; five daughters, Chenese Hibbler, Andrea Ward and Moneshia Ward all of West Memphis, Lakisha Conley of Cordova, Tennessee and Kimberly Washington of Forrest City; one son, Tyrone Bullins of Crawfordsville; six sisters; two brothers; and 15 grandchildren.
Marilyn Busby Dickson
Marilyn Busby Dickson, 82, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016, at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on July 8, 1933 in Caldwell, Arkansas. All of her childhood was spent in Moro and Marianna. After graduation, she obtained a teaching degree from the University of Central Arkansas, formerly known as Arkansas State Teachers College. She moved to West Memphis and began teaching at a school at Hulbert. West Memphis became her life-long home. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church and served faithfully for decades.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Dickson; her sister Robbie Hobbs, and her parents Bruce and Mary Busby. She is survived by her son, Jeff Dickson (Jamie) and Maribeth Dickson Poole (Ed) as well as four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to West Memphis First Baptist Church, 200 North Missouri St, West Memphis, AR 72301. The visitation will be Thursday, March 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with the service Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel and interment following in Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
Mario Jackson
Mario Jackson, 44, of West Memphis, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home with services following at 11 a.m. also at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home.
He leaves his wife Asrie Jackson of West Memphis; five daughters; four sons; two sisters; one brother; and nine grandchildren.
Betty Jo Miles
Betty Jo Miles, 65, of Gilmore, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Baptist NEA Hospital. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Friday 11 a.m. at Union Grove Church in Gilmore with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery.
She leaves three daughters, Mary Miles of Jonesboro, Earnestine Anthony and Dorothy Allen of Little Rock; a son, Earnest Miles III of Hurricane, West Virginia; a sister, Dorothy Benson of Gilmore; three brothers, Ira Dabney of Blytheville, Carl Dabney of Memphis, Tennessee and Lonnie Dabney Jr. of Tyronza; and one grandchild.
Yvonne Speed
Yvonne Speed, 46, of Memphis, formerly of Hughes, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at Methodist Germantown Hospital. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Friday 11 a.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Blackfish with burial in Birdeye National Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas.
She leaves her mother, Christine Speed of Hughes; three sisters, Aimee Speed and Lucille Speed of Hughes and Lavon Turner of McCrory; six brothers, Curtis Speed, Jerry Speed, Lawrence Speed and Bobby Speed all of Hughes, Charles Andrews of McAllen, Texas, and Frederick Speed of West Memphis.
