Service road down to one lane overnight Sunday

At Thursday ‘s city council meeting, West Memphis Mayor Bill Johnson announced a one-night lane closure through one of the busiest roadways in the city. The northside service road from the Visitor Center through the Missouri Street underpass to the entrance to Walgreens will be restricted one lane overnight from 10 p.m. Sunday until Monday at 6 a.m.

“The Arkansas Highway department called and I’ll pass this along for genereal infoirmation,” said Johnson.

AFCO Road over to Highway 77 will be the only way south out of Lakeshore during the closure.
