Jackson Girls Club, 405 S. 25th St., West Memphis from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Program services children ages 5 through 18 years of and and people up to 21 years of age that are participating in a State education for the mentally or physically disabled.
• Sultana Heritage Festival – Saturday, April 21, at Trinity in the Fields Church, Cypress Rd., Marion from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Full day of lectures from local and regional historians about the Sultana Disaster of 1865. Free and open to the public. At 6 p.m. a complimentary showing of “Remember the Sultana” a full-length documentary about the worse maritme disaster in the U. S. History. • West Memphis Christian School Grandparents Club Rummage Sale Fundraiser – Saturday, April 21, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. at 1101 N. Missouri St., West Memphis. Designer clothes and purses, clothing all sizes, housewares, toys, linens, furniture and much more is available! The sale is rain or shine because it is all indoors. Come and get some great deals and help a great cause.
• Hope House Ministries Donation Drive, 653 Hwy. 77 North, West Memphis – Huge Donation Drive on Saturday, April 21. Those interested can make an appointment by calling 870-732-4902 or through the Facebook page. Appointments start at 9 a.m. and are one hour long. We are asking for a donation of $5 to get in, and participants are encouraged to fill a huge bag with all the winter clothes they want. They may also choose non clothing items. An appointment is necessary to get in.
• Car Wash and Bake Sale – Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Angels Way Baptist Church, 801 Angels Way, Marion. All proceeds go to Claire Winders Benefit Fund. Visit Caring for Claire Benefit fund on Facebook.
• Crittenden County Election Commission Training – Will hold poll worker training on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 12 p.m. at the following address, County Office Building, 116 Center Street, Marion AR 72364. 870-739-5744.
• Forklift Driving Certification Class – Wednesday, April 25 at ASU Mid-South. Upon completion, students will be issued a forklift course completion card. Pre-register and pre-pay at www.asumidsouth.edu/product/ forklift-driving-certification/.
