Arthur “Tuff’ Stanley Brooks

Arthur “Tuff” Stanley Brooks, 78, of Earle, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Gladys Brooks; three brothers, and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Earlene Brooks of Earle; a son, Dewayne Brooks (Lisa) of Earle; three daughters, Monica Duke (Larry) of England, Wendy Hamrick (Robbie) of Marion and Kristi Ragan (Gary) of Marion; seven grandchildren, Josh Brooks, Taylie Hooten, Hunter Mills, Jordan Hamrick, Hunter Ragan, Clay Brooks, Ally Hamrick; four great-grandchildren, Lilly Brooks, Gage Hooten, Jase Mills, Aubrie Hooten, and one on the way; three sisters, Edith Keck of Glendale, California, Evy White of Memphis, Tennessee and Joann Ponder (Jim) of Forrest City; and one brother, Carter Brooks (Beth) of Cherry Valley.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation was on Sunday at Roller Citizens Funeral Home.

Services will be on Monday, at 10 a.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Richard Harris

Richard Harris, 72, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016.

He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife Martha A. Harris; children, Mark K. Harris, Shelia R. Johnson (Sam) and LaTonya L. Harris; siblings, Stella Foster, Walter 11 arris, Ruby Foster, Cedric Harris, Sheretha Harris; seven grandchildren; and two great-grand children. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Forest Baptist Church, 4500 Petersburg Rd., Louisville, KenUicky. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home, 128 S. 7th St., West Memphis, with interment in Paradise Garden Cemetery. Professional services by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston St., Louisville, Kentucky.
