hbacond7@aol.com Garden Club The Hughes Town & Country Garden Club (HT& CGC) met on Oct. 20, at Asian Fusion in West Memphis. This month’s hostesses were: Pam Ellis & Rosalind O’Neal. The Program was on Litter Control presented by Liz Phillpott, with Keep Arkansas Beautiful out of Little Rock. The ladies enjoyed the buffet and everyone left with a Fall Decoration as a door prize. The HT& CGC has resigned The Yard of the Month sign until April 2018.

Pancake Breakfast

The Horseshoe Lake Volunteer Fire Department will hold a Pancake Breakfast on Veteran’s Day on Saturday, Nov. 11. All Veterans will be served at no charge. Everyone is welcome to come pick-up or eat in at the Fire Station on Lake Estates Drive. A donation of $5 per plate will be available to Non-Veterans. They plan on serving from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
