$35,000 bond for former scout leader charged with child pornography

McCafferty facing felonies for sexual indecency

Christina McCafferty, 38, is being held at the Crittenden County Detention Center on multiple charges following her arrest last Friday afternoon.

The West Memphis woman is charged with Sexual Indecency with a Child and Computer Child Pornography. McCafferty was arraigned Monday morning and is being held on a $35,000 bond. She was at one time a den mother for a local Boy Scout troop, although she was no longer in that position at the time of her arrest, having been removed from that post approximately three months earlier. The charges stem from an investigation into an alleged relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

Her next court date in Marion is July 31 at 9:30.
