It’s been busy at the 8th Street Mission for Jesus Christ in West Memphis in recent weeks.
Last Saturday, the mission held it “Loaves & Fishes” special event. Several local children in need were blessed with Easter baskets courtesy of Po’ Boy Auctions and goodies courtesy of Walmart. This weekend, the activities continue with a special Community Prayer Breakfast.
Everyone is invited to come out to the Mission, 711 E. Broadway, in West Memphis, for the breakfast, which will be Saturday, May 6, from 8 to 9 a.m.
On the menu will be sausage gravy, sausage, buttermilk biscuits, bacon, eggs, hash browns, coffee and orange juice.
Loaves & Fishes
8th Street Mission for Jesus Christ recently held their “Loaves and Fishes: event this past Saturday, April 29. The children received Easter Baskets that were donated by Po’ Boy Auctions, and all the food and drinks were provided by the manager, Mr. James Harton, at Walmart.
