OBITUARIES
Norma Sue Pirani, 84, died peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, in England, Arkansas with family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dino; her son, Tim; her parents; and her brother.
Sue was born in Missouri to Finis and Hazel Speight and completed high school in West Memphis before marrying Dino Pirani. Sue raised her six children on a farm in Turrell, cooking, gardening, playing tennis and sharing her loving home with friends and family. She influenced those around her, believed life should be enjoyed now, and fervently sought her spiritual lessons in the woods or under the stars.
Most recently, sue was a popular resident at her nursing facility, entertaining staff with her feisty demeanor, witty comments and colorful language.
She is survived by five children, Diane Walker (Pete) of Scott, Pete Pirani (Muffett) of Heber Springs, Pat Pirani of Joiner, Priscilla Baer (Ray Mark) of Franklin, Tennessee and Kathleen Pirani (John) of Montrose, Colorado; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 22 from 1-2 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home and funeral services begin at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, consider spending time with a senior in Sue’s honor. For memorials, her preference was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Dillon Lee Reynolds
Dillon Lee Reynolds, 25, of West Memphis, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Reynolds worked for West Memphis Fence Company.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Freddy Reynolds Sr. and Virginia Reynolds and his maternal grandfather Troy Mason.
He is survived by two sons, Ayden Reynolds of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Cruz Reynolds of West Memphis; his mother, Carla Reynolds of West Memphis; father, Freddy Reynolds Jr. of Dardanelle; three sisters, Latausha McClendon of Dover, Lacey Reynolds and Tori Reynolds both of West Memphis; a brother, Shane Smith of Parkin; Maternal grandparents, Margaret and Don Monk of Russellville; and his girlfriend Pharis Clark of West Memphis.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, at Roller-Citizens Funeral in West Memphis.

Clifton Sherman, Jr.
Clifton Sherman, Jr., 77, of Proctor, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 in his residence.
Visitation Friday, Dec. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home South State Room. Services Saturday, Dec. 17, 1 p.m. in the south chapel with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery. He is survived by two daughters, Antoinette Sherman of Castro Valley, California and Angela Sherman of San Leandro, California; one sister, Ida Mae Miles of Memphis; and one grandchild.

Robert L. Tate, Jr. 55, of Indianapolis, Indiana formerly of Edmondson, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016.
Visitation Friday, Dec. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home South Chapel. Services Saturday, Dec. 17, 11 a.m. in United Fellowship M. B. Church, West Memphis with visitation one hour prior to service. He is survived his wife, Michelle Tate of Indianapolis, Indiana; his parents, Robert L. Tate, Sr. and Artry Lee Tate of Proctor; four step daughters, Survey Turner, Simone Turner, Shawnda Turner and Serenity Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana; one step son, Vincent Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana; three sisters, Debra Ann Tate-Whitney of Indianapolis, Indiana, Sherry Tate of Memphis and Sonja P. Tate of Proctor; seven brothers, Gregory Thomas of Chicago, Illinois, Rodney Tate of Nashville, Tennessee, Courtney Tate of Chesapeake, Virginia, Christopher Tate, Corey Tate of Memphis, Kenneth Tate and Kevin Tate of West Memphis and three step grandchildren.
Leon Washington
Leon Washington, 71, of Anthonyville, Arkansas formerly of Pine Bluff, died on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, in Baptist Hospital East, Memphis, Tennessee.
Services Saturday, Dec. 17, 11 a.m. at Old St. Paul M. B.
Church, West Memphis with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial on Monday, Dec. 19, 10 a.m. in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter, Sonja Moon of Memphis, Tennessee; a sister, Eair Dell Anthony of Anthonyville; two brothers, Diallo Washington of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Eddie Washington of Alpharetta, Georgia; one grandchild and two great grandchildren; Anthony Funeral Home, West Memphis, in charge of services.
