OBITUARIES
Kimmie Wayne Clark, 64, of Hernando, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, Nov.
29, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rudean Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judy Clark of Hernando, Mississippi; his daughter, Shannon Clark Melton of Marion; his son, Brandon Clark of Berwick, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Kelsie Clark, Calista Keck, Kameron Clark, Khloe Clark; his mother, Mary Clark of Earle; and his brother, Danny Clark of Earle.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation will be on Thursday, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. with interment following at Park Cemetery in Imboden, Arkansas.

Charles Gill
Charles Gill, 78, of Tyronza, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016.
He was born July 13, 1938, to the late Hester and Hardin Gill and was a 1956 graduate of Turrell High School.
Charles was a former employee of Tasty Bakery, Wonder Bread, and Elite Lamp Company. He was a board member of the West Memphis Girls’ Club where he coached basketball for many years. He umpired and refereed many recreational sports and was an avid sports fan. Charles was a member of the Tyronza First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lou Ella and Mildred, and two brothers, Drexel and Larry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Hazel; children, Pam Hogland of Wynne, Kevin Gill of Paragould and Patty Barger of Tyronza; sister, Shirley Crockett; and brother, David Gill of Tyronza; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will Thursday Dec. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tyronza First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Friday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at the Tyronza Cemetery. Luther T. James
Luther T. James, 68, of West Memphis, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 at his residence. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home.
Services following at 11 a.m. with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery.
He leaves four sisters, Hattie James, Bettie Ferrell, Iona James and Annie Green all of Harvey, Illinois; and one brother Claude James Jr., of Memphis.
Lucendia Johnson
Lucendia Johnson, 100, of Forrest City, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, in Forrest City Medical Center.
Visitation Friday, Dec. 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Spiritual #1 Church, 411 Cross St., Forrest City. Services Saturday, Dec. 3rd, 11 a.m.
in the church with burial in the Forrest City Cemetery.

She is survived by a son, Lonnie Boyd of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one sister, Gracie Dudley of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Tom Thomas, Jr. of Compton, California; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and five greatgreat grandchildren.
Mr. Billy Jack “Mr. Bill” Looney
Mr. Billy Jack “Mr. Bill” Looney, 92, of Proctor, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 at his home. He was born Dec.
28, 1923 in Whitten, Arkansas to the late George Andrew and Minnie Russell Looney. Mr. Bill was a farmer and a John Deere dealer for 52 years.
Mr. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jennifer Catherine Stephenson; a grandson, Paul H. Stephenson III; a sister, Ruth Looney; and two brothers, J.R. Looney and Joe Ed Looney.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Elaine Downes Looney; a son, James Downes (Cathie) Looney of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, James Butler Looney, Anna Catherine Harris, Susan Elaine Looney, and Mary Louise Stephenson; one great grandchild, John Paul Harris; two sisters, Ruby Wylie of Overland Park, Kansas and Martha Ann Buffington of West Memphis; and a brother, George Looney Jr.
He lived his 92 years as a much loved family man, successful farmer and businessman. Looney Implement, a John Deere dealership in Hughes, Arkansas operated for 51 years during which time he served the needs of the farmers. His was the last independent Deere dealership of the state of Arkansas.
Bill Graduated in 1941 From Shawnee High School where he excelled in sports and academics. After high school he attended the University of Arkansas then like so many of the Greatest Generation he served in the U.S. Navy in World War II as a Seabee assigned to the duty on the island of Seapan in the Pacific.
After the war he returned to Tyronza where he met and married the girl next door Elaine Downes. Sept. 1 2016, marked their 68th wedding anniversary. He was proud of his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters. With Kindness, generosity and modesty he tireless helped and contributed to the success of his family, friends, employees and customers.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of service.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in West Memphis with Pastor Derrick Harris officiating.
Interment will follow at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza.
Mrs. Alpha V. Riley
Mrs. Alpha V. Riley of Heth died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, at Forrest City Medical Center. Visitation Friday 4 to 8 p.m. at St.
James M.B. Church, 1859 Cartwright St., Earle.
Visitation Saturday 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Funeral services Sat. 11 a.m. at St.
James M.B. Church. Burial will take place at Paradise Gardens, Edmondson.
Ramona Rae Williams
Ramona Rae Williams, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away Tuesday, Nov.
29, 2016 at the age of 57.
She was born Jan. 28, 1959, to Harvey James Roeder and Shirley (Taylor) Roeder in West Memphis, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey James and Shirley Roeder and brother, Rick Roeder.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Jeff Williams; son, Jackson Taylor Williams; daughter, Jenni Williams; two brothers, Jim Roeder and Robin Roeder and wife, Julie; three grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. and family will greet friends that evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Larry DeLay officiating.
