Rosemary Dupree, 74, of West Memphis, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 in Regional One Medical Center. Visitation Friday, Nov. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home South Chapel. Services Saturday, Nov. 19, 11 a.m. in the south chapel with burial in Marion Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Dupree of Alton, Illinois; a daughter, Mildred Hunter of West Memphis; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Shawn Freeman
Shawn Freeman, 44, of West Memphis, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday, 11 a.m., at Lake Grove Church with burial in Lake Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Kenya Freeman and Latrisha Munn both of West Memphis; four sons, Montez Brown, Demarius Freeman, Kendrick Watson and Kevin Watson all of West Memphis; mother, Anna Freeman of West Memphis; sister, Floria Brown; and three brothers, Russell Freeman Jr., Robert Freeman and Kenneth Freeman.
Donnie Rae Lawrence
Donnie Rae Lawrence, age 77, of Hardy, passed away on Monday Nov. 14, 2016 in the comfort of his own home with loved ones at his side.
Donnie was born on April 14, 1939, in Hoxie to the late Rutha Blackshear and Elvis James Lawrence. He worked as a flooring installer and also served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing & hunting, and his family referred to him as a 'cowboy'.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Sherry Lawrence, Marchia (husband David) Bathbun, James (wife Heather) Lawrence, Donna (husband Daniel) Sandefer and John (wife Crystal) Lawrence; brother, Ron Lawrence; sisters, Eulalia Hamby, Dee Yarbrough, Brenda Haussman, Debi DeWitt; and grandchildren, Lance Bissen, Connor Sandefer, Mason Lawrence, Jude Sandefer, Christon Lawrence, Jacob Lawrence, and Emma Lawrence.
A service will be held at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri beginning at 1 p.m.. on Friday Nov. 18, under the direction of Wortham Funeral Home & Cremation.
Frederick Miller
Frederick Miller, 50, of Cabot, formerly of West Memphis, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, in West Memphis. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Chapel. Services Saturday 1 p.m. also at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery.
He leaves his wife, Lucinda Miller of Cabot; two stepdaughters, Saquanda Barnett and Jazmynn Tanner; a son, Frederick Jackson; two stepsons, Willie King and Jeremy Clark; his father, Eddie Wallace of West Memphis; his mother, Janie Wallace of West Memphis; four sisters, Betty Tyson, Cheryl Leggett, Valerie Claxton and Ann Miller; and three brothers, Jimmy Miller, Terry Miller and Arthur Miller.
James Albert Pulliam
James Albert Pulliam was born on Oct. 19, 1923, in Yellville, to Zol and Elma Jane Pulliam and died on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at his home in Heber Springs.
Jim, known by the nickname Doc, graduated from Texas A& M University in 1944 where he obtained a degree in Veterinary Science. He became an avid Aggie, but would just quietly watched televised games between Arkansas and A& M.
He was a captain in the U.S.
Air Force during the Korean War. After his tour of duty, Jim opened a small animal clinic practice in Jonesboro, and started his family with his marriage to Mary Hinkle Castleberry and the adoption of her daughter, Patti.
The family moved to Manila where Jim farmed and raised cattle. It was during this time that he was appointed as the State of Arkansas Veterinarian. He continued agriculture related operations until joining Aromatique in 1985 as Vice President, Systems Development.
After moving to Heber Springs, Jim was active in the First United Methodist Church, as well as being a devoted Rotary Club Member. No task was too small or to large, as he always volunteered for events that helped Heber Springs be a wonderful place to live and work. He led a full life, beneficial to all. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Mary Hinkle Pulliam.
Survivors include his second wife, Jo Claire Adamson Pulliam; daughter, Patricia Pulliam Upton and husband, Richard of Heber Springs; sister, Mary Ruth Posta of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren, Paige Upton (Michelle) of Little Rock and Peyton Upton of Heber Springs; great grandchildren, June Upton of New York City, James Peyton Upton Jr.
of Vail, Colorado, Jordan Upton of Memphis, Tennessee and Martha Upton of Heber Springs.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 1099 West Pine Street in Heber Springs on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 1 p.m. with Reverend Tommy Toombs officiating. The family request that any memorials be made to UAMS Chancellor’s Circle, Slot 716, 4301 West Markham Street, Little Rock, AR 72205-9985. Arrangements by Family Funeral Service.

13, 2016, in St. Louis.

Willie Robinson Jr.
Willie Robinson, Jr., 57, of West Memphis, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016.

He leaves two stepdaughters, Tonya Kimble and LaShunda Clark; a son, Brandon Welch; three stepsons, Mark Welch, Keith Welch and Wayne Clark; his father, Samuel Johnson; his mother, Frankie Johnson; seven sisters, Barbara Weatherspoon, Patricia Cook, Bessie Campbell, Marilyn Phillips, Joyce Catchings, Sharon Primm and Loreta Sartee; and five brothers, David Harris, George Harris, Willie Rogers, Ronnie Robinson II and Edward Rogers.
Donna “Binky” Brown Schooley
Donna “Binky” Brown Schooley, 66, of Bartlett, Tennessee, was born Feb. 24, 1950, in Forrest City to Joseph Carroll Brown and Donna Jean Miller. She entered into rest Nov. 13, 2016 in Bartlett. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Collierville. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (David) Bass of Bartlett; her son, Thomas James “T.J.”
(Toni) Miller of Millington; one grandson; nine granddaughters; her mother, Donna Jean Miller of Horseshoe Lake; two sisters, Penny (Artie “Buff”) Odom of Horseshoe Lake and Kaye (William) Betz of Crossett.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dwane Schooley; her father, Joseph Brown; step-father, James Miller. The family will receive their friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis. MES Principal’s List
