Veterans Day program tomorrow at VFW

Public invited to free event honoring our servicemen and servicewomen

The annual Veterans Day Program will be held on Friday, Nov. 11 at the VFW Post 5225 located at 406 South Avalon in West Memphis.

The ceremony honoring those who served will start at 11 a.m., with the “Pledge of Allegiance.” The Academies of West Memphis High School Band will perform, along with West Memphis Fire Chief Wayne Gately. Post Commander Elvin Tate and Quartermaster Wade Callicutt would like to invite all to attend.

The event is free and open to the public.
