OBITUARIES
Robert Lee Anderson, 70, of West Memphis, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2016, in Methodist University Hospital. Visitation Friday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m.. in the Anthony Funeral Home South. Services Saturday, Oct. 29, 11 a.m. in Second St. John M. B. Church, West Memphis with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter, Shundrell Thornton-Wallace of Clarksville, Tennessee; a son, Malcolm Mills of Killeen, Texas; four brothers, Leroy Anderson of Compton, California, Willie Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Bernard 'Ben' Anderson of West Memphis and Herbert Anderson of Nashville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Donald “Donnie” Edward Crader
Donald “Donnie” Edward Crader, 69, of Munford, Tennessee, entered into Heaven’s gate on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at Baptist East Hospital. He was born, Feb. 8, 1947, in Dyess to Edward Eugene Crader and Donna Elizabeth Elrod. Donnie was of the Baptist faith. He served in the Vietnam war and is a retired entrepreneur in sports recreation and memorabilia. Donnie loved bowling, sports and collecting things, but his great interest was his grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents and his brother, Carl Ward.
Donald survivors include his loving wife of 44 years Kay Crader, three children; Chad (Jeannie) Crader, Leanne (Trey) Giuntini and Carrie (Verlon) Todd; grandchildren; R. J. Giuntini, Lauren Giuntini, Ayla Todd, Bailee Todd, Cassidy Todd, Presley Crader, Logan Crader and Cason Crader. Mr. Crader is also survived by his brothers, Robert and Billy.
A graveside funeral will be Saturday, Oct. 29 at 12 Noon at Crittenden Memorial Park with Bro. Bobby Beech officiating. Pallbearers will be Glenn Hobbs, Tim Espinoza, Shawn Belcher, Joe Brasfield, Lance Strode and Patrick Shirley.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
Clarence “Mr. Big Joe” Whitaker
Clarence “Mr. Big Joe” Whitaker, 96, of West Memphis, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, in his home. Visitation Thursday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home South Chapel. Services Friday, Oct. 28th, 11 a.m. in True Vine M. B. Church at Sunset with burial in Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery at Birdeye. He is survived by three daughters, Barbara Wilson of Marion, Norma Moore of West Memphis and Brenda Jones of Jonesboro; three sons, Frank Whitaker and Neal Whitaker of Marion and Darren Whitaker of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 21 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren and 33 great-great grandchildren.
