Augusta Fisher, of Turrell, who celebrated her 110th birthday on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, died on Sunday, Aug.

28, 2016, in her home.

Visitation Saturday, Sept.

10th, from 10 to 12 noon in the Anthony Funeral Home South Chapel. Services will follow at 12 noon in the south chapel with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery.

She is survived by six grandchildren, Dorothy J. Parson of Turrell, Arguster Turner of Keiser, Margaret Brown of Marion, Ann Walker and Rickey Walker of Chicago, Illinois and Sandra Walker of St.

Paul, Minnesota; 33 great grandchildren; 96 great-great grandchildren; 76 greatgreat- great grandchildren and six great-great-great-great grandchildren.

Amanda Logan

Armanda Logan, 92, of Earle died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at her home in Earle.

Mrs. Logan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Earle for over 60 years where she was a choir member, and a member of the Red Rose Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Logan Sr.

She is survived by five daughters, Irene Burgess (Roy) of Chicago, Illinois, Shirley McGinnin-Stennis (Edward) of St. Louis, Missouri, Retha D. Brown (Ron) of St. Louis, Missouri, Doris Russell-Brookshire (Keith) of Chicago, Illinois and Gwendolyn Logan (Ronnie) of Chicago, Illinois; five sons, L. B. Logan Jr.

(Emma), Clarence Logan, Donnie Logan (Joyce), Melvin Logan ( Emma) all of St. Louis, Missouri and Carl Logan (Hiwot) of Marion; a sister, Bertha Barrett of St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers Amos Baldwin (Laura) of Cleveland, Ohio and Rosco Baldwin (Brenda) San Antonio, Texas; 34 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; and two special daughters, Barbara Alexander and Carloss Guess.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the Earle First Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept.

10, 2016 with burial following at Paradise Gardens Cemetery.

Ben Walton McCullar

Ben Walton McCullar, 73, of Marion passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mr. McCullar was a faithful member of the senior Adult Joy Seekers, Joy Singers and Adult Choir of First Baptist Church of West Memphis.

He retired from Lebonheur Children’s Hospital, and from the Crittenden County Assessor’s Office.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Emerson McCullar of Marion; two daughters Dana McCullar Simpson (Mike) of Earle and Kristin McCullar Elam (Eric) of Marion; a son Heath McCullar (Melissa) of Alma; a sister, Alice Hubbard (Herman) of Batesville, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Nicholas P.

Ginn, Brooke Lauren Ginn, Victoria Simpson Johnson, John Eric Elam, Jordan Emerson Elam, Claire Elizabeth McCullar, and Seth William McCullar and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at the West Memphis First Baptist Church, 200 North Missouri Street, West Memphis, Arkansas.

Lynda Mae Whittier

Lynda Mae Whittier, 55, of West Memphis, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at her residence.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday, 11 a.m. at New Mt. Pisgah Church.

She leaves three daughters, Natasha Watson of Edmondson, Lyn Jelica Whittier and Dakia Whittier both of West Memphis; two sons, Johnny Whittier and Jimarkus Whittier both of West Memphis; her mother, Mary Holmes of Crawfordsville; and a sister, Bobbie Holley of West Memphis.
