Promotion Time

The West Memphis Police Department promoted six officers to their next rank, on Thursday, November 18 at city hall. Chief Michael Pope thanked the group for their hard work and dedication to duty. Standing left to right were Patrol Division Sgt.

Sheldon, Detective Sgt. Matthew Jarrett, Detective Sgt. Mose Walker, Narcotics Captain Brent Bradley, Mayor Marco McClendon, Chief Michael Pope, SWAT and VCSU Captain Harvey Taylor, and Drone Commander Lt. Darell Hayes. Those promoted received new badges, certificates, and pay raises commensurate with rank.
