An Ounce of Prevention…
Asia Boykin, RN, and Earle School District school nurse, was the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the Earle School District. Boykin got her inoculation at Wynne Medical Pharmacy. Nurse Boykin, who has worked in the healthcare field over 13 years, recently joined the ESD team last year. Prior to that she ran a COVID-19 unit at a longterm care facility. Boykin said she is excited about working with the staff and students at Earle School District and is ready to “put COVID-19 behind us” as she and other school officials work to keep schools, teachers and students safe.
