Big Catches

Fishing activity has been strong before the sun is up, or when it disappears for the day, over the past several weeks of a hot late summer, but in recent days some of the daylight action has picked up as well. Above: Craig Harrison of Bryant caught this 20-pound catfish while fishing the Arkansas River using skipjack, and Marie Ottoson (right) caught a nice bass using a nightcrawler while fishing the Saline River.
