Fatal wreck near Shearerville

Arkansas State Police (ASP) reported a West Memphis man died Thursday morning on Interstate 40 near Shearerville. Donald Singleton, Jr., age 30, crashed a 2002 Lincoln Navigator at 11:40 a.m. The vehicle flipped and wound up in the median. The police reported clear weather conditions and a dry road. Crittenden County Dispatch relayed the accident with injuries to the ASP.

Singleton held an educational specialist degree in psychology from Arkansas State University, and graduated in 2007 from Marion High School. This was the 175th Arkansas highway fatality of 2020.
