Car Trouble

The Marion Fire Department doesn’t just respond to fires. The MFD was on the scene recently during a pair of road-related incidents. On March 13, the department was called in on a crash on Interstate 55 northbound near Mile Marker 8. No injuries were reported. And on March 19, an MFD crew responded to a call about a car left abandoned in a ditch near Turrell, southbound on I-55, to help the Tyronza Fire Department get the vehicle out of the ditch.
