Thank you, MPD!

Some of the youth took a trip up to their neighbors at the Marion Police Department recently with some goodie bags for the boys in blue. “We had special visitors this week stopping by to show our officers some love!,” said Debbie Bailey, assistant to the chief of police. “Thank you Marion United Methodist Church for your support and your thoughtfulness! It is very much appreciated!” Each sweet treat had a special meaning, including mints “to help you keep cool in any situation,” Lifesaver candies “because you are one,” and bubblegum “to help your unit stick together.”
