Well, the third attempt at fleeing from West Memphis police wasn’t as charming for one bad guy, all because of a focused law enforcement plan in place targeting criminal activity occurring at local motels, according to Assistant Wes Memphis Police Chief Robert Langston..

Shortly before 11 p.m.

this past Sunday, a police officer patrolling the parking lot at Southland Casino, 1550 Ingram Blvd., observed a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt with Tennessee tags that matched the exact description of a vehicle that he initiated a pursuit with back on Sunday, Oct.

27, suspected of being involved in recent vehicle breaking-and-entering incidents.

Langston said as the driver was leaving Southland’s parking lot the officer noticed the driver not wearing a seat belt at which time an attempt was made to pull the vehicle
