Griffin After a full and blessed life, on Nove. 5, 2019, C.L.

Griffin was called home to be with his Lord. He was born on July 17, 1927 in Electric Mills, Mississippi, to Clarence and Willie Mae Griffin.

C.L. met and married the love of his life, Velma Sims, on February 5, 1950 at First Baptist Church. He owned C.L. Griffin & Sons Electric Company in West Memphis, Arkansas for 51 years. He loved gardening, canning, western movies, hunting, and enjoyed catching fish, but never ate them, so he always gave them away. He was a Deacon and faithful member at First Baptist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas for over 60 years.

He was always proud of the three mission trips he took to India.

He is survived by his sons, Ronnie Griffin (Pam), and Rick Griffin (Terri); his six grandchildren, Jonathan Griffin (Valerie), Elizabeth Griffin, Matthew Griffin, Sarah Naylor (Nick), Hannah Williams (Brett), and Barak Griffin (Krystal); his nine great-grandchildren, Miller Griffin, Graham Griffin, Noah Naylor, Natalie Naylor, John Brayden Williams, Garron Williams, Kaydi Blanchard, Rylee Blanchard, and Dylan Blanchard; and his caregivers, Carolyn Parker, Takisha Butler, and Larry Parker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Willie Mae Griffin; his loving wife of 66 years, Velma Griffin; his brother, James Griffin; and his sister, Dorothy Griffin.

Donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 200 N Missouri St, West Memphis, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, 200 N. Missouri St., in West Memphis, Arkansas, on Friday, Nov. 8, from 1 to 2 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following. Teresa Ann Palmer

Teresa Ann Palmer, of West Memphis, transitioned on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019.

She leaves her mother, a daughter, a son, and 12 grandchildren. Teresa was a wonderful person, and loved by many. She loved her life like it was golden.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m.

to 12:30 p.m., with funeral services following at 12:30 p.m., at M.J Edwards Funeral Home, 4455 Stage Road, in Memphis, Tenn.
