New Zion Church, 310 E. Polk St., West Memphis, will be hosting a five day Women’s Conference, Monday, Nov. 11 through Friday, Nov. 15 beginning at 7 p.m. nightly.

Guest speaker for Monday evening will be Evangelist Mea Barnes, Tuesday, Minister Elizabeth Powels, Wednesday, Evangelist Mary Crayton, Prophetess Pat Crume and on Friday, Minister Ann Pope.

The week-long conference will conclude with a special service Sunday, Nov.

17, featuring Evangelist Lula Hamilton preaching at 11 a.m., and Co-Pastor Cassandra Elliott with Bridging the Gap Church in Blytheville. Preaching at 3 p.m. Preacher S.J. Parker. Sr. invites one and all to attend the conference as well as Sunday’s special services.

• Family & Friend’s Day — Members of Heavenly Gates Fellowship Ministry, 2805 South Service Road, West Memphis, will be hosting a Family & Friend Day, Sunday beginning at 2:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be Pastor Antwan Stinnett with the Philadelphia M.B.C., Crawfordsville.

Other guests include, Pastor S.L. Smith, Greater St. Mark Christian Church and Pastor J.C. Jones, New Shiloh M.B.C. Pastor R.L.

Hunter welcomes one and all to participate.

• Shiloh Anniversary Event — Members of Shiloh M.B. Church, 4046 Bucklake Rd., Crawfordsville, will be celebrating their church anniversary, Sunday, beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Roy Nelms and Union Valley M.B.

Church being special guest. Also, Shiloh will be honoring Brother John L.

Anthony, Jr., Sister Elma Barbee, Sister Earnestine English, Brother and Sister Oscar and Teresa Starks.

The family members of the honoree are asked to attend and the public is cordially invited to help celebrate this anniversary event. Dinner will be served to all those who attend.

• An Invitation from Old St. Paul — “Come Join Us Sunday” Members of the Old St. Paul Church invite one and all to come and worship with them Sunday beginning at 8:45 a.m. for Sunday School followed by worship service beginning at 10 a.m. with Pastor Frederick S. Anthony preaching the word of God.

• Pre-Anniversary Celebration — Members of the Unity Baptist Church family, 719 S. 11th St., West Memphis, will be hosting a pre-anniversary celebration for their pastor and wife, Dr. Herman and Sister Glendora Coleman on Sunday, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Guest include Pastor Edward Hampton and his church family, Macedonia Baptist Church of Lansign and New Lehi Baptist Church of Leho.

Pastor Coleman invites one and all to join in on this special celebration.

• Benefit Program Planned — There will be a special benefit program for Helen Barber Smith Saturday, beginning at 6 p.m. at The Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 201 S. 15th St., West Memphis. Ms.

Smith is well known for hosting several programs in West Memphis and the surrounding area. She was diagnosed Stage 3 cancer.

Host Pastor Rev. Leroy Turner said he and his church family are asking all family and friends to come and be part of this benefit program. Guest groups and choirs include: Delta Jubilaires of Forrest City, Sanders Quartet of Earle, Heavenly Sounds of Earle, Sisters in Christ, Mt.

Zion of Clarkdale, Keith Winfield & Company, The G Ministries Choir of Memphis, and The Men of Vision.

The sponsor for the event is Sister Carrie McClure.

• Chili Dinner — The Marion Church of God is selling chili dinners for $10 each. You will get a bowl of chili, (over Fritos if you like), crackers, a dessert, and a drink. We will be serving lunch and dinner Friday, Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the gym located in the back of the church. The address is 1747 Hwy. 64 in Marion.

You can dine in or carry out. We will deliver lunch to your work place, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., if you are local. To place your order, please call Shirley Miller at 870- 636- 0415.

Seven Seals Service Program— The New Salem M.B. Baptist Church, Old Airport Road/College Boulevard, will be hosting a 7-Seals Service Program from the book of Revelation beginning at 3 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 10. Guests will include Evangelist Lutie Fletcher, Evangelist Darlene Granger, Ministry Gout and many others.

Guests are welome to attend.

Homecoming Celebration— Mt. Calvary M.B.

Church, West Memphis, will be celebrating homecoming Sunday, Nov.

10, beginning at 3 p.m.

Guest speaker will be Rev.

Charles Clark and th New St. Paul M.B. Church family. The public is welcome to attend and worship.
