WM School Board Election Nov. 5
Early Voting begins October 29
ralphhardin@gmail.com On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the West Memphis School District will conduct its annual school board elections.
Ahead of the vote, the Crittenden County Election Commission will hold a week of early and absentee voting, which begins today and runs through weekend) Monday, Nov. 4 (no weekend votign). Early voting will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. All early voting will be conducted at the Crittenden County Courthouse.
On Election Day, Nov. 5, the polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations:
• Eugene Woods Civic Center – 212 Polk Avenue West Memphis
• Anthonyville City Hall – 149 Luke Anthony St Anthonyville
• Edmondson Senior Center – 61 Waterford St Edmondson
• Bonds Marine Store – 15263 Hwy 147 South Hughes There is only one contested race. All other seats are incumbents seeking re-election unopposed. On the ballot for School Board District Zone 5 will be:
• Billy Thomen (incumbent) • Basil Joiner On Election Day, Absentee Ballots will be processed at the Civic Center at 5pm.
