Time for the 2019 Mid-South Great Steak Cook-Off

After eight extremely successful years in a row, Southland Casino Racing is passing the baton to the City of West Memphis’s Convention and Visitors Bureau for the 2019 Mid-South Great Steak Cook-off. The competition is Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 8 a.m., at the Eugene Woods Civic Center located at 212 West Polk St. in West Memphis.
Just minutes away from the cultural amenities of downtown Memphis.
The Mid-South Great Steak cook-off is the largest SCA sanctioned event in the Mid- South, drawing teams from all over the Mid-South and beyond, open to all cooks with national sponsors offering bonus money for winning steaks.
In addition to the cooking competition, the cook-off will include appetizers, live music, cold drinks, door prizes and more. A total of up to $5,000 in prize money will be up for grabs.
The public is invited to enjoy the free fun, festivities and a chance to win several door prizes. Interested teams are encouraged to register early space is limited, entry fees are $200 and $25 for Appetizers.
