Bernice Brown, West Memphis, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris Alverson of West Memphis, and two sons, Don and Melvin Brown, both of West Memphis. She had 61 grandchildren, 102 great-grandchildren and 52 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Beautiful Zion Church.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 am. at Beautiful Zion Church, with burial at Paradise Garden. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Geraldine Brown

Geraldine Brown, 75, of Marion, passed away Friday, Sept. 6 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters Hope Freeman, Memphis, and Mary Hignight, Kaleen, TX; one son, Morgan Diamond, Marion and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funderal Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Victory Church in Marion, with burial to follow at Marion Memorial Park.

Tamara C. Harrison

Tamara C. Harrison, 42, of West Memphis, died Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Baptist East, in Memphis, Tenn.

Survivors include two daughters, Adrianne and Gabriel Harrison, both of West Memphis; two sons, Jordan Harrision and Davin Fletcher, both of West Memphis and her mother, Laura Harrison of West Memphis.

She had two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home, West Memphis, with funeral services at 11 a.m.

Saturday at Calvery Baptist Church.

Doris Jean Udell Perry

Doris Jean Udell Perry, 80, of Crawfordsville, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at Methodist University Hospital, Memphis.

Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Johnson and Angela Donnerson, both of Marion, Carolyn Taylor, Conway, and Linda Perry of North Little Rock; three sons, Quinton Perry, Crawfordsville, James Perry, Jr., Earle, and Eugene Udell, Sr., Little Rock; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home, West Memphis.

Funeral services ill be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Time in Langsing, Arkansas. Burial will be at Crittenden Memorial Park.

Curtis Edward Riddick

Curtis Edward Riddick, 74, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, in Memphis.

Mr. Riddick was retired military.

Survivors include his spouse, Jenette West Riddick; two daughters, Sherry Riddick and Donna Riddick, both of Virginia; a step daughter, Deborah Joshia of California, and three sons, Reginald Davis of Virginia, Curtis E. Riddick Jr., of New York and a stepson, Lorenzo West of Marion. He also had three grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 13, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.

Saturday, at the Church of God in Christ. Burial will be at Birdeye Cemetary on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019.

Tommy Ray Ward

Tommy Ray Ward, 82, of Marion, Arkansas passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tommy was born to Mr. Chester Ward and Mrs. Gertrude Childers Ward on Oct. 13, 1936, in Bassett, Arkansas.

Tommy enjoyed washing his vehicles, keeping an immaculate yard, watching Razorback Football and Basketball games, road tripping to see loved ones, and desperately trying to understand the love of his life, Bettye. But above all else, his passion was serving his family in every capacity. Anything from household jobs, helping his sons, there was nothing he couldn’t fix or short order breakfast cooking for his 3 granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife; Bettye Hendon; two sons Tommy Ward II (Missy), Jeff Ward (Martha); three grandchildren Peyton Ward, Jillian Ward, and Natalie Ward; sisters, Francis Bryant, and Lois Barnes.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, and one brother Bobby Ward.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 13, 2019 from noon until 1 p.m., at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, with services beginning at 1 p.m.
