Mr. Ernest Lester “Les” Boozer, 73, of Trumann, departed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Boozer was born in Hughes, was formerly of Harrisburg, and lived in Trumann for one year. He was a retired machinist and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Keren Poindexter; one sister, three brothers and his parents, Russell Andrew and Gracie Marie Smith Boozer.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Jones Boozer of the home; one son, Kevin (Ashley) Boozer; one stepson, Rudy (Jamie) Ray, Jr; one step-daughter, Brandi Williams (Josh) Norris; and seven grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday morning at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home, with Rev. Chad Robinson and Rev. Kenny Guy Mc-Mahan officiating. Burial will follow in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Canoy, Jamie Batten, Carlton Boozer, Josh Norris, Eric Boozer and James Lally. Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Hamby, Brett Canoy, Louis Jones Sr., and the men at Shiloh Baptist Church. An online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome. net
