WMFD making a splash

The West Memphis Fire Department sprayed fountains of water into the air and made a big splash into Gammon Lake during annual pump and hoses tests at Tilden Rodgers Park on Thursday. Traffic slowed on College Blvd. and walkers on the track stopped to take in the spectacle. Two pumps were scheduled for repair and re-testing after failing according to Chief Dennis Brewer.
