OBITUARY

Barbara Ann Person

Barbara Ann Person, age 72, of Forrest City, died Saturday at her son’s home in Palestine. She had been in poor health for the past several years.

Mrs. Person was bom Jan. 8, 1946, in Memphis, and was the daughter of Sonny Dye and Anna Laura Dye. She lived in St. Francis County most all of her life, had worked for Vel-Rich Jewelers, Rubys Flowers, and had spent many long hours as a farmers wife. She attended the Oak Hill Church of God.

Mrs. Person married James Harold Person in 1964, and he preceded her in death in 2015. She is survived by one son, James Earl ‘Jim’ Person of Palestine; one sister, Jimmye Lynn Porter of Wooster; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She had one son, Bert Person;

two brothers, Joe Dye and Larry Dye, who all preceded her in death.

A memorial service for Mrs.

Person will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, 11 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.
