Robert L. Tate, Sr.

Robert L. Tate, Sr., 86, of Proctor, died Tuesday, Dec.

25, 2018, in the VA Medical Center, Memphis. He is survived by his wife, Artry Lee Tate of Proctor; three daughters, Debra Whitney of Indianapolis, Indiana, Sherry Tate of Memphis and Sonja Tate of Proctor; seven sons, Gregory Thomas of Chicago, Illinois, Rodney Tate of Nashville, Tennessee, Courtney Tate of Chesapeake, Virginia, Christopher Tate and Corey Tate of Memphis, Kenneth Tate of West Memphis and Kevin Tate of Proctor; 21 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Services Thursday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m., in Old St. Paul M. B.

Church, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial on Friday, Jan. 4, 9:30 a.m., in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Anthony Funeral Home in charge of service.
