Doris Gately was in Little Rock at the Double Tree Hotel recently where she was installed as Grand Ruth of the Order of the Eastern Star of Arkansas.

Installing officers were Tom Dixon, Grand Officer, Mary Ann Dixon, Grand Marshall and Sherill Baker installing Grand Chaplain.

Doris was escorted by her son Wayne Gately of Marion. Family members present were Janet Gately, Trent Gately of Marion and Anna Gately of Conway.

EBC Soup & Chili The Earle Baptist Church members held their annual soup and chili luncheon following the worship service last Sunday morning. Among those present were Adria Roberts, Anga Turner, Caleb Turner, Janis Lancaster, Louis Lancaster, Kay and Rickey Rogers, Bill Rogers, Penny and Mark Simon and son Luke, Tanya Pate, Frankie Swindle, Jessica Pruitt and sons Daryl and Chandler, Geneva Branch, Rickey Branch, Vickey Wells, Sue Ann Elms and Rev. Tony Wells, pastor.

Dinner guests in the home of Mark and Adria Roberts last Saturday were Dot McKinney of Earle, Kyle and Katie Roberts of Earle, Mr. and Mrs. Bryson Hartrell and children Journee and Landon of Swifton, Mr. and Mrs. David Putney and children, Braden, Anna, Addie and Reid of Mississippi, Mr. and Mrs.

Michael Whatley and children Nate, Ayden and Bryson.

Ellen and Sam Holloway entertained with a pre-Christmas dinner at their home.

Included were Teresa and Mike Bishop of Searcy, Trey Davis and a friend from Hazen, Shirley Porter of West Memphis, Sammy and Beth Holloway and children Gretta Grace and Lily of Marion, Kelly and Mike Charlton of Bentonville and Tanner Badgett of West Memphis. ^^^ Jimmie Barham and her daughter, Jimmie Beauchamp of Fayetteville were in Memphis at the Le Moyne-Owen College last Saturday where they attended the play “My Home

Town.”

Vickey and Rev. Tony Wells, Janis Lancaster and Frankie Swindle were in Wynne at Riverdale Nursing Home where they attended the Christmas party last Saturday.
