General Election Runoff Dec. 4 to decide three local races

Early voting to decide three local races has begun in Crittenden County and continues through Monday, Dec. 3.

All early voting will be at the Crittenden County Courthouse in Marion, from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. There will be no voting on Saturdays.

Election day will be Tuesday, Dec. 4. Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m.

until 7:30 p.m.

The following poll sites will be used:

• For the West Memphis Mayoral runoff between Wayne Croom and Marco McClendon: West Memphis High School Arena, 501 W. Broadway, Civic Center, 228 W. Polk, First Baptist Church of West Memphis, 200 N. Missouri, 7th St. Church of Christ, 899 N. 7th, Wonder Boys Club, 412 S.

25th, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 201 S. 15th St., Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, 300 S. 14th and Calvary Baptist Church, 1600 N. Avalon.

• The polling site of Edmondson City Building, 61 Waterford will be used for the Mayors race between Art Gillard and Ira Ewing.

• The Horseshoe Lake Fire Station, 174 Highland Drive is the polling location for the race between Harris Lentz III and Michael E. Carter for Position 2, Horseshoe City Council.

Absentee Ballot processing will begin on Monday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. at the Courthouse in the Circuit Judge’s office. The counting and canvassing of absentee ballots will begin at 10 a.m., on Dec. 4, at the Eugene Woods Civic Center in West Memphis.

Election night results will be tallied at the Civic Center in West Memphis, starting at 7:30 p.m. A list of appointed election officials for Election day is posted in the Crittenden County Courthouse.
