Young playwright bringing show to West Memphis stage

12-year-old published author serves as writer, producer and director for his third stage play on Dec. 1 By Ralph Hardin

ralphhardin @ gmail .com Aidan Eslinger, author of the children’s book “The Colorful Sky,” will present his third original stage play, titled “Sister Secrets,” on Saturday Dec. 1, at the West Memphis Civic Auditorium in West Memphis.

A brief synopsis: “Sister Secrets is an adult stage play about five sisters and their mother, who runs a hair salon. When the mother can no longer run the salon, her only wish is for her five daughters to keep her hair salon up and running. In order for the sisters to fulfill her wish, they must deal with past issues, reveal their darkest secrets, and try to forgive one another. Will they succeed?”
