Mrs. Mary A. Dudley Harris of Lepanto worked diligently for the public school system in Arkansas from 1977 to 2010, both as a para-professional and certified educator. Even though Mrs. Harris retired on Oct. 15, 2010, she still possesses the desire to serve the public.

To fulfill this want/need, Mrs. Harris was appointed and commissioned as a Notary Public for the State of Arkansas on Jan. 20, 2017.

“My stamper is ready,” she says.

She has also received a Lifetime Educator’s License, effective Jan. 1, 2018. Receipt of the license has inspired her to pursue a life-long dream, which is to initiate a Beginner’s Learning Program, at her home, for children prior to entering kindergarten.

“Because children and their future have been and always will be of great significance to me,” said Harris, “I could never think of a more valuable way to serve the public the rest of my life.”
