Both the Marion and West Memphis fire departments made the scene Tuesday night to handle an overturned 18-wheeler.

The Magness Oil Company tanker was loaded with fuel when it overturned and approximately 3,000 gallons of fuel had leaked out of the tank, running into the embankment and ditches on the left side of the road.

The accident occurred on Mound City Road at the eastbound entrance ramp to Interstate 40. The road was blocked off for several hours as crews worked to contain and clean the spill and then remove the overturned tractor-trailer.
