The West Memphis Fire Department pressed its new battery-powered extraction equipment into use for this multi-vehicle rollover and entrapment crash near the I-55 and I-40 split on Monday. East and southbound traffic was shut down to make a landing zone for the Hospital Wing helicopter. The fire department’s C-Shift made the call, along with West Memphis Police, Crittenden EMS, and the Arkansas State Police.
