Last week, the Marion Fire Department tackled a residential fire in the Bayou Vista Subdivision. The firefighters were able to get the fire under control and stop the advancement. The occupants were home at the time, but they were able to escape unharmed. There were no injuries. “Proud of my guys for the job they did,” said Fire Chief Woody Wheeless.
