Crisis Intervention Class

The West Memphis Police Department and ASU Mid-South partnered last month to host a 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team course at the college designed to provide law enforcement agencies with training on how to effectively respond to situations involving persons experiencing a mental health crisis. “WMPD is dedicated to providing our officers the skill set to better serve all of our citizens,” said one police official. “Thank you ASU Mid-South for providing a great space to conduct this training.”
