Annual reports presented, Farm Family recognized at annualgathering

ralphhardin@ gmail.com The Bam was busy Tuesday night as local farmers, their families, state and regional leadership and other agri-centric guests convened at the Crawfordsville facility for the 83rd annual Crittenden County Farm Bureau Convention.

Farm Bureau President Spence Held welcomed the crowd and kept the agenda rolling along. Farm Bureau agent Brian Doyle led the Pledge of Allegiance and delivered the Invocation before yielding to Secretary-Treasurer Frank Barton for the reading of the minutes and the financial reports. Other speakers included agency manager Bruce Williams, Crittenden County Extension Agent Russ Parker, and the keynote address from U.S. Congressman Rick Crawford.

Bart Turner presented the John Stephens Memorial Scholarship to Annalee Parker, Rachel Benson, Alden Deese, and Christopher Stuckey, as well as the Farm Bureau-ASU Mid-South Scholarship.
