VFW’s annual remembrance event set for holiday morning

The annual Memorial Day program honoring fallen military men and women will be held on Monday, May 28, at 8:30 a.m., at Crittenden Memorial Park.

“I would like to invite everyone in the community to attend, said Commander Elvin Tate on behalf of VFW Post 5225. “The program will be held at the Monument in the Veterans Section of the cemetery.”

The American Legion, the 40 et 8 organization, and Boy Scouts are also expected to participate.

“Please make your plans to attend,” invited Tate.
