1,000-plus to get first choice of magnet school

Deadline to complete school choice May 1

Marion School District The Marion School District is proud to announce that over 1,000 Magnet School Application Day attendees will receive their first magnet choice for the 2018-19 school year.

There is still time to turn in an application for your child/children. Please stop by Marion School District, located at 200 Manor Street in Marion, during normal business hours. Applications will continue to be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

If you live outside of the Marion School District and plan for your child to attend one of the magnet schools in 2018-19, please remember to complete a School Choice application by May 1. Those are also available at Central Office.
