Violence at apartment complex sends man to the hospital

The West Memphis Police Department is looking for answers after a shooting in West Memphis sent one man to the hospital in critical condition.

Police were called to the scene, in the 3900 block of Park Plaza at an apartment complex, late Tuesday night. Responders found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was hospitalized at Regional Medical Center for emergency surgery.

The victim's identity has not been revealed at this time. There is no suspect information available at this time as the investigation continues.
