Dean Cook, 61, of West Memphis, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017.

Harold Dean Cook, Jr. was born to Mr. Harold Dean Cook, Sr. and Mrs. Shirley Cook on Feb. 26, 1956.

Mr. Cook met and married the love of his life Kathy, who blessed him with three children, Harold Dean “Trip” Cook, III (Kandi) of West Memphis, Ian Cook of West Memphis and one daughter Katee Forbis (Chris) of Memphis, Tennessee.

He is also survived by one brother, Lance Cook (Gina), of Crawfordsville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Dean was proceeded in death by his wife, Kathy Cook; his sister, Lisa Cook; and his parents.

Dean was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he established the “Wednesday Night Live” children’s ministry.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec.

13, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1600 N. Avalon St., in West Memphis, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, with a memorial service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kemmons Wilson Family Center for Good Grief.
