Ervin Larry Gann, 66, of West Memphis, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mr. Gann was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy and a retired electrician from NRG Power Plant.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Lonzo Gann; and sister, Deborah Julian.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Gann; two sons, Larry B. Gann and Jeffery T. Gann; his mother, Opal Smith Daly; two sisters, Linda Watts and Kathy Dulaney; three grandchildren, Zoey, Korbin and Alex Gann.

Services were held on Sunday, Nov. 5, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with interment at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Debbie Smithers, 63, of West Memphis, Arkansas died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at Regional One Health Extended Stay Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mrs. Smithers was a member of Missouri Street Church of Christ, she retired from Methodist Hospital as a Medical Technologist.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Irene Rummells.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Smithers of West Memphis; two sons, Andy Smithers of Memphis and Brian Smithers of Calabasas, California; her father, Gene F. Rummells of Evening Shade; two brothers, Doug Rummells of Learned, Misissippi and Jeff Rummells of Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with services at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at The Missouri Street Church of Christ in West Memphis with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.
