Might as well jump right in, right? Students in Asha Foster's chemistry class at the Academies of West Memphis conducted experiments on the first day of classes. David Jackson conducts an experiment showing the reaction between ammonium thiocyanate and barium hydroxide is endothermic. It absorbs heat from its surroundings. As a result, the temperature of this reaction will drop quickly. It causes the beaker used to freeze to the wooden board.
